    Default The lightweight Alphabet titles

We all know JMM is THE lightweight Champion; however it is interesting to see where all of Nate Campbell's alphabet titles are going

WBO- Will be on the line when JMM vs Diaz

WBA- Will also be on the line when JMM vs Diaz- although I like the idea that two vacant alphabet titles are up for grabs at the same time, I find it comical that the WBA is completely ignoring the fact that they have a "regular" champion at lightweight:Yosuke Kobori

IBF-Dan Rafael reported in his blog today that this will go to the winner of Joan Guzman v Yuri Romanov

WBC- Edwin Valero vs Antonio Pitalua(as Pac-man recently vacated)

I don't really care where they go, they're bogus anyway! As you say Marquez is the champ & thats all that matters to me!

I am interested in the lightweight fights we are getting though & the ones we may get in the future: I think Valero, Casamayor (tough call for me here), Barrios, Katsidis & now Guzman will advance. Then throw those guys together anyway you want & we're in for some exciting fights!!!

For me, there's no real LW champ at the moment and the winner of JuanDiaz-JMM fight this Saturday will become the recognize LW champ...

We're on opposite ends of this one mate... I'm predicting a Baby Bull decision win and then clinching the LW champion honors for the 2nd time by bagging the Ring, WBA and WBO LW belts this time around...

Although I think Marquez wins, by no way do I think it will be an easy night! Its one of those fights that could go either way & I expect their styles to clash in explosive fashion. A great fight anyway you look at it!!!

I'm looking forward to this fight but moreso for the undercard John-Juarez fight... coz I'm predicting John to "inflict worst beating" on Juarez...

Yeah I think John will defeat Juarez, but worst beating I don't know. I'm just happy John is leaving his homeland! Their are some pretty good fights out there for him & this is the 1st step towards establishing just how good he is!

Did you know that John took a pay cut just to make this fight? He can make more money fighting in Australia, Japan and Indonesia... This is why I think John is a man with a mission here... He's out to prove that he's the featherweight king... He's out to prove that his win over JMM is not a fluke or robbery...

See how ironic it is, John who defeated JMM is on as undercard of a JMM main eventer... It's some kind of disrespect to John's win over JMM...

JMM is the real champ at LW.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

Yes... after Campbell lost his WBA, IBF and WBO LW titles on the scale and PAC vacated his WBC LW belt... Is this the way you want your champ to get his "real champ at LW" title??

Pacquiao may be the best pound for pound boxer in the world but his beating of David Diaz in no way gives him the right to be called the best LW around. The only man who could have even competed with JMM was Campbell & now he's gone. JMM beat Casamayor, Campbell beat Diaz, these are the kind of fighters that you have to beat to legitamately be called the best in the division

I didn't say PAC is the champ at LW... I consider it vacant...

Before JMM will attain this status at LW, he has to beat Juan Diaz this weekend but I think Diaz will win by decision...
