Default - CutMeMicks Sunday League Footy Team -

Alright seeing as I've gotten a few comments via Rep. messages about my footy team and if I really play footy and where does my passion for footy come from, why Am I a United fan. I'm a bandwagon fan etc. etc. etc.
In other words my Footy knowledge and persona have been challenged so here it is...

Well I had time tonight to sort some pictures out and settle this one out already. I didn't have to and don't have to but I feel it's my duty to do so.

Anyway here's some pictures of me and my footy team and some trophies we've won.
So here are some info on us, we play in Whittier, CA in the Latinos Unidos League NOT a prominent league but we do get good coverage from Newspapers. This last season that we won we has the spanish version of the LA Times put us up in their Sports section.
Anyway the teams name is 'Deportivo Jalisco' for those who don't know Jalisco is a city in Gudalajara, Mexico. We consist of almost all family with the exception of about 4 players who are not related the rest are my cousins, brothers or uncles. In our 1st season we made it to the finals and we lost in penalties so we go 2nd place, then the following season we won our 1st championship, then this last season we won our 2nd title and we also won the tournament of champions where the champions of 4 different leagues met and played eachother. This year we are playing at the highest level possible and if we win the title this year we'll be the only team in the leagues 12 yr. history to do so. We've won 2,000 dlls total in money and 2 uniforms when wining the titles and the tourney with the money we've done several things like bought a uniform for a local youth team along with equipment, we've also had parties and celebrated our victories by drinking heavily.
I play defense, center back and I wear #5 I've also been the Captain of the team since it's begining.

This the 1st title we won.

I'm at the bottom right next to the trophy. This is our Germany uniform. The guy in the blue shirt is our Head Coach and the guy in the muscle shirt is a bit of mentor as he played in semi-pro in Mexico.

This is me and 2 of my younger brothers.

Here's our last championship... With our Barcelona uniform.

This was a really good game as the opposing team took the lead early on and mounted up a 2-0 lead over us as we managed to score just before the half. One thing we are good at is starting off the second halfs really good within in 15 min. we were up 3-2 and we ended up wining 6-3.
I'm on the top row from left to right I'm the sixth guy.

Here we are raising up out Head Coach as we said if we won this one he'd keep it the trophy. That's me there to the left with the water & towel in his hand.

This me and 2 of my younger bros with our 2nd title.

So when we won our 1st title we also won the Barcelona uniform, then we won the title again and we also won this uniform the Italy uniform.
With this uniform we won the Champion of champions tournament. That's me at the top row furthest to the right.

Here's the Trophy we won in the tournament this one my uncle kept it as he scored 2 key goals in both games to give us the wins.

    Nice pics mate........but.....

Ive noticed a few problems with 'your' pictures. Picture 1, or exibit A if you will. Far left of pic is quite clearly David Beckham and alsmost far right with shirt turned back to front is quite obviously Roberto Carlos. What looks like the youngest of your two brothers is Naseem Hamed.

I put it to you CutMeMick that this is a hastily cobbled together photoshop effort and you have never played football, in fact you probably dont even support your family by selling junk?

    What say you?

I love American trophies, I want one so bad

This makes me want to play football again.

Disclaimer: for those that dont 'get' Brit humour, Im quite clearly joking.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

Not only that, but he has Arjen Robben hiding bang in the middle of Exhibit A behind a couple of guys. In fact he's also in Exhibit B next to the guy with Barcelona shirt on backwards on the far right of th picture. You know Mick it's always very easy to win stuff with world-class footballers on you're team, and I have suspicions that you're other brother is none other than Gianluca Vialli. For shame Mick

Come over mate, by the early run we've got going here we are currently 7-0 with only 1 goal allowed so things look good. We'll just put you on the roster that way you'll get a trophy.
Whoever doesn't get your humor can eat a dick.

The blue tops look like Italy shirts. Are they?

I also thought you would be wearing blades because the ground is harder over there.

I'm confused as to how you manage to play football without your glasses?

From your current shadeless profile pic it's clear that without them on you stumble around like Mr Magoo
