Default HBO WCB changes: What do you like, what don't you like?

HBO has made several changes to their World Championship Boxing telecast this year... what changes do you like? What don't you like?

I like the new intro graphics, showing the quick clips of old fights. Hagler is in there, Chavez landing the KO punch on Taylor, Tyson and RJJ are both there as well. However, I don't like the new theme music. They should have kept the old theme music.

I also don't like how on the tale-of-the-tape, they have the motion shots of the 2 fighters throwing punches. I think it looks stupid. They should've kept the still headshot photos.

They also have a new thing where they show a brief highlight clip of each fighter before they make their ringwalk. I'm not a huge fan of it, but I don't really mind it either.

What I really like is the focus they've put on explaining the different weight classes. Casual boxing fans don't know who the real champs are anymore, and they're confused by all the different belts and all the different weight classes. I like how HBO is taking a few minutes to break down the weight class before they show a fight. For example, before the Berto-Collazo fight, they broke down the welterweight picture. And last night, they talked about all the main featherweights before the John-Juarez fight and talked about the lightweight division before Marquez-Diaz. I think this is a very smart move.

I like most of it, I don't like the new announcer, the guy from the olympics. I agree about the tale of the tape, that just looks lame.
I like the Ring Life series too, that's good stuff.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

The punch count ticker that comes up mid screen live during rounds.Reminds me of amatuers/Olympics.Sometimes ...less is best when it comes to sports viewing.

And they do run a bio on the Division in question.....but they are mostly HBO fighters that have held contract or are in the network plans.Cant really fault em there though.
