I didn't see the fight. From what I've read he won on decision.
Did he look impressive in victory? Obviously, Lajuan was incredibly was handpicked, but was still undefeated.

Watching it now. Simon has shown a lot of heart from what I've seen of the fight so far. I have to say Abraham does look like maybe he is drained at the weight now. I certainly don't think Simon is any worse than Rubio, IMO probably better, and he's significantly better than Gary Lockett.
This may be AA's last fight at 160
I watched this one live, Arthur looked pretty good and pretty bad :S, he was hitting the guy with big shots but every so often he'd take a whack in the face back and if I remember right he was in trouble around the 8th and 9th round. I think he looked pretty tired, he had Simon close to being knocked out but he'd stop and I think he grabbed hold of him . I had abraham as a clear winner on the score card but it was quite a close fight sort of.
The commentators were saying he was having big problems making weight though, this would make sense, I thought he was pretty comfortable untill he looked tired, although I don't have great memory.
Apparently Abraham had to cook off 20 pounds in the last 2 weeks before the fight...Abraham needs a clear diet plan or he can't stay at middleweight...Simon showed alot of heart and had a great chin...

Abraham is dead at the weight, he fights in short spurts and looks awful. He should move up or take on Pavlik now. He will get beat soon, even against Strum on last nights performance.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Abraham has always fought in spurts. He did the same at 166 against Miranda and before that against Ayala and so on. He has always paced himself in fights strangely to attempt a rally late in a round.
I don't think moving up to 168 is going to help him a much. He has always has stamina issues I believe.
I wanted to watch this fight, but couldn't find any link to it, but from what I've been hearing Abraham was weight drained. Not a good sign, and if he is weight drained he better go up to Super Middleweight. And Super Middleweight isn't a bad place to go because there is not much up there and Abraham should have no trouble being the king at that division.
Are you serious? SMW is a much more stacked division than MW, you've got Kessler, Bute, Jermain Taylor, Librado Andrade, all good exciting fighters. Plus most of those would be better money for Abraham than pretty much anything at MW, plus there's always other fights like Carl Froch who would be good money & could be done in Europe. Honestly you take away Pavlik, and otherwise 160 is dead, especially compared with the fights at 168.
