Damn, who's going to be next?
First Barrios, now Casamayor. What started out as a good night of fights, is slowly starting to dwindle.

Well they just have to piece this frankenstein back together.....has lost some massive name fame but I think Escobedo and Hernandez might just produce some good, solid action. And I believe Escobedo takes him close.
Kats vs. Chavez is solid and leaves little to to the imagination as far as where they will meet one another, eventually at ring center.Leaning heavy to Katsidis to get this one right, just to much pressure and strength for scrapy huge hearted battler Chavez.Just a bridge too far at this point in Chavezs comeback/career I believe.
Valero and Piatula could turn into a mutual trainwreck. Both hugely touted bombers, but 39 years old at lightweight is ....39 at lightweight.Would not blink and should be fun while it lasts.
So Julio Diaz needs an opponent.....hmmmmm.Hey,there is a certain guy world ranked at light, very fan friendly style, and a champion waiting in the wings with extreme prescision punching...(jeeze,Im sounding like S.B lol)Happens to also have a fight vs an unnamed opponent set for May 1st...my b-day.Diaz is coming back strong but would love this clash.......Urbano Antillon!!!
.Lots to risk for young gun and Diaz returning strong but hey, what a fight!!!

May 1st is a Top Rank promoted card... I don't think Arum will be happy to lend Antillon to his friend Oscar/Golden Boy Promotions and sacrifice his own promotions...
With these injuries to Barrios and Casamayor, I think Valero is right in labeling his co-contenders in this tournament as "old" boxers...
.
Man it only gets better, great one.I was thriving for a Humberto Soto/Antillon shoot out but can not see a division jump.Off huge Cook KO,that would be Niiiice scrap. The visions of Cook tagging that body with effect just before Roman zeroed that uppercut & set up ending.....Antillon is a very precise head/body hitter...but needs to step it up now!!
Guzman has stalled a bit but has all the skillset to merit a big fight. Not fully versed on Romanov?
Kind of a bummer about the pullouts, still should be a solid card though.
Spicoli good call on Antillon, I am completely sold on him, he's ready to test the waters at the top of the mountain.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
