Thread: Talk about bad luck

I was sitting here watching some fights and I began watching some Hearns.

On March 10th. 1986, Hearns faced undefeated middleweight prospect James Shuler 22-0/ 16 KO's.

Shuler was knocked out in the first round. A week after losing to Thomas Hearns, Shuler was killed when the motorcycle he was driving was involved in an accident with a tractor-trailer.

Considering that Hagler knocked out Hearns a year earlier, I guess Shuler/team thought Hearns was ripe for the pickings.
