I think ESPN is ph*<ked regarding combat-sports:
Boxing Photo Wire - ESPN
^ That's ridiculous.
ESPN's supposed to be a respected news outlet.
Clearly ESPN doesn't know what they're talking about if they confuse one of the Greatest Most Famous Heavyweight Champions in history, Jack Johnson, with some Hollywood actor, James Earl Jones, who voiced Darth Vader and played the King in Eddie Murphy's "Coming to America."
Jack Johnson's reign began over a hundred years ago in 1908; James Earl Jones is still alive today !
How does a worldwide respected news-outlet get these two confused?!
Incompetence, that's how.
What's next?!:
A picture of the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Will Smith, accompanying a writeup about the Great Muhammad Ali's civil rights struggles in the late 60s?
Hey, Smith played Ali in a Hollywood film after all, didn't he?
I could see ESPN getting Will Smith confused with the Great Muhammad Ali just because he played him in a movie.
I don't think ESPN's MMA coverage is any better than their boxing acumen.
Thumbs down to ESPN.
The REAL Jack Johnson:
