    Default Hatton Interview

Did anyone else notice/puzzle at the fact that Hatton implied that the ODLH win was the only big win of Paq's career? Maybe I should say the biggest win of his career.

Pac is earning another 7 figure paycheck on his upcoming fight with Hatton. So I guess his fight with DLH was the biggest win for him money wise. But as a pacfan, in terms of "shocking the boxing world" imo, I think Pacquiao's biggest win was Pac-MAB 1. Just like Hatton's win against Tszyu.

You're making my point. He beat JMM, MAB and oh by the Eric Morales, on his way to this fight. ODLH was not his only scalp, IMHO.

Totally agree with that. Pac beating Barrera first time out was his coming out party. A decent fighter up until then but Barrera was the big name on his resume.

In terms of actual size DLH is the only BIG win on Pac's record. I imagine that Hatton will be a bigger man than DLH come fight night too. Definitely Pac's biggest challenge. He has of course faced plenty of huge stars but none with the belly size of Ricky Hatton. If he were to fight Morales again tomorrow, I would argue that Morales takes the crown as biggest opponent of them all.

Hatton keeps repeating that he's the man at 140; that he's "unbeatable" at 140 and he's the bigger man...

I can't just imagine Hatton's reaction on weigh-in and fight night realizing that he's not really a much bigger man than PAC... PAC is a bit taller than Hatton so I won't be surprised if both men will look the same size-wise on fight night...

So what happens to Hatton if his perceived size advantage is wiped out??

Size won't be the issue, strength will and as long as hatton's team remember to feed him during training camp (cough) he's not going to lose that advantage.

Agree and actually, I think they will be dazzled by his ability to move on a ring and his stamina, I am not certain Hatton can handle that combined with the dazzling speed and head bobble head movement.

What is all this talk about about Pac being an elusive southpaw. He is not. Malignaggi is faster than Pac and hatton man handled him, Pac punches harder but Hatton took Tszyu's bombs so Pac's will not trouble him. Hatton will beat Pac.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

I disagree. Pac is faster and way busier than Mallinaggi. Plus, they're totally have different fighting styles. The southpaw style itself will create lots of problems for Hatton. Unlike Paulie, PACQUIAO WILL BE FIRING BACK. Pac will have is jabbing hand above his waist and will be in defensive mode at all times even if he is attacking. Hatton's Tszyu win was a long time ago, way before Collazo, Mayweather, Lazcano, and Mallinaggi fight and they managed to mess up his face.

I think Hatton will get sliced up pretty good by Pac. Hatton's legs will get taken out in mid-rounds, and I expect a bloody KO by Pac in late rounds.

No Hatton in the intreview said Dela Hoya was his biggest fight quite a big difference to what your saying he said, it was by far the biggest fight he was involved in in terms of intrest and intrest.

Didn't you see his last 2 fights? He did not recieve one cut nor tiny mouse. The constant head movements, in and out, side to side, spinning his opponent around, and avoiding being pinned against the ropes? I called that a pretty darn good defense don't you agree?

I disagree... I consider PAC faster than Malignaggi...

Hoya took bombs from middleweight to welterweight boxers but PAC punches still re-arranged Hoya's face and eventually made Hoya quit...

If the same punches will land on Hatton, I think Hatton will also eventually quit... As Larry Merchant said "death by a thousand left hands"....
