Why would he want to train him? Nothing in it for Freddie.
Isn't it also a way to praise himself and his boxer Pac? If he said something like "Well, anybody can get connected in the sport of boxing. Pac landed a great show and that's how things ended. No big deal, Hatton can get back in shape..." or something. It would take credit away from the win, in a way or the other. So instead, you have him saying that it was a destructing devastating KO coming from his very own, the one and only, Pac, who sent him to retirement.
Hatton is just damaged goods now... There is no shame in leaving the sport only losing to the top 2 fighters of this generation...(even though PBF hasn't really shown me much opposition)
You are the Creator of all that is, all that was, and all there ever will be.....
sounds like roach fancys khans chances with hatton crazy imo hatton kos him in 1
Doesn't really matter much anymore... Anytime Hatton gets popped he extremely susceptable to a "flash" knockdown... His chin has been shattered, he won't ever be able to take a punch again...Hang it up Hatton...

I see what's in it for Freddie. Think about it: if Roach can put Hatton back together again and he can beat some other highly ranked p4per like Marquez or even Floyd then Roach can put attribute that to his ability as a trainer. He can definitely say he's a better trainer than Mayweather and after two devestating KOs if Roach can stretch him out a few more years then that is definitely a testament to his ability as a trainer because win or lose, Hatton will eventually get tapped on the chin again.
Oops
Sorry bro'; Hatton could never beat Floyd. Freddie knows Hatton is a creature of habit; and teach him all the new tricks you want, when he starts feeling the heat he will revert back to type and go in hands down, holding and hitting and get floored. The 2 elite fighters he faced curb stomped him. Would be nice to see though I'll admit

You're right. Hatton is a creature of habit. Come fight night he'll make it look like he learned nothing different in training. That would be very frustrating for a high profile trainer like Roach. Way too stressful and a waste of high dollar time when he could be working on a project that would actually take and reflect his training skills.
Hatton can win A belt but with Pac, JMM, PBF, and all the youngsters int he division I doubt he can ever be THE GUY again.
He should have another fight, win, and hang them up.
Don't mistake me, I was speaking in fantasy land. No way Hatton beats the top top guys. I'm just saying that if there was some kind of miracle work that Roach could do and get Hatton to beat a top guy it would be a huge feather in his hat. I wouldn't suggest he actually try to move that mountain.
Oops
Hatton can make a good sparring partner for Pac though.
