Cannot see it.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Damn that was a good vid; gave me chills watching him at times. He had to be about the scariest mofo to ever climb between the ropes; more primal animal than human when it came time to do his work in the ring. I still get upset when I see him lose to Douglas; imo the beginning of the end of his career. It was a hard thing at the time to see him become "just a man".
It is sad that we all know the outcome of such a great story, We often forget because of Mikes in and out of ring antics exactly how great Tyson really was
We also forget that like everyone he is human, for all the power, skill, anger and toughness Tyson was just as fragile on the inside.
One of not just boxings most tragic tales, but one in life as general
He was often led on, egged on by reporters to act like an animal and eventually he took the role thrust upon him.
We never let a mistake slip by and we built outrageous to be the only acceptable behavior there was for him.
Just like when people begin to believe what they read about themselves in the press as being great, unbeatable, invincible and more then the average man Tyson believed what they wrote about him in the negatives, he became what was being wispered behind his back because he thought thats what the people wanted.
He was right, that is what people wanted to see, the real shame is he never wanted to be that person
