Thread: Some real nuthugging type fans but......

Pac fans are honestly the most biased retarded fucking fans I have ever seen in the sport (in any sport) in my short time.

Sure Hatton and Calzaghe fans could be bad.........and DannyG's Cotto deal was kindof creepy, but really: these pac fans are numerous and all but one I know adds absolutely nothing to a boxing board.

Why is this?
Is it because the Filis only have a few champions? (They insist they have many champions, past and present, yet they only speak of one). Is it because they are, in general, just more ignorant, selfish, and have more meritless posters than all other countries put together?

Discuss. I would really like to know what makes Pac fans so stupid. I can't wait for Pac to suffer a few really bad defeats. Lets see where all these "fans" go then! As VD as said earlier, I don't think they are boxing fans at all. They are "Pac Fans" and as we all know.......boxers come and go!

you have to remember if you arent american, chinese or russian you do tend to have limited sports starts to cheer on in your own country and when you do get something special come along your quite within your rights to have a brag about it.

But pac fans take that WAY to far and show themselves and there country up everytime they post on here.

Manny Pacquiao is 1 man....he could quite easily be from uzbekistan or ghana yet saddos phillipino community seem to have it in their minds that pacquiao being the 2nd best boxer in the world somehow represents their country as a whole!!

yeah, it was like the michael phelps phenomena in swimming in the olympics.. I bet if anyone went onto some sort of swimming message board making michael phelps threads really pissed off the rest of the group from other countries who actually follow swimming..

It's good for the sport having a whole country being involved and paying for PPV's and what not, but extremely, EXTREMELY annoying for true fans of the sport who aren't biased..

Well in all seriousness there's really only Saddoboxer (and some come and go types) and lets face it Saddoboxer would be annoying as fuck no matter who he was a fan of.

A bit of a broken record isn't it though, I mean they don't do anything ban worthy so they're gonna be here for the time being, I guess there's the ignore button.

The weird thing is the more annoying they get the more of a fan of Manny I become because the backlash annoys me, a guy that's given so much to boxing deserves better (says somebody who really turned against Wlad to the extreme because of his fans but Wlad doesn't deserve better, he likes touching other men's hands).

They are annoying. But now the Hatton fight is out the way I am beyond caring too much. I'm certainly not paying much attention to them. I just skim Saddoboxers posts at the moment if I even look at them at all.

The whole experience has left me wanting to see Manny toppled though. Mosley v Pac...go on Mosley! Mayweather v Pac...go on Mayweather!

It's incredibly trite to be that way, but it's just how things are. I like Manny and think he is a quality fighter. But I find it hard to warm to him with all the sycophantic dribble lurking all over the place.
