I'm just interested to know how many of you box yourselves? A big problem with boxing on mainstream networks, such as the BBC/ITV seems to be ingornace surrounding the sport. People claiming it is brutal, and has no place on ainstream T.V. That seems to be one group of people, the other seems to only like Knockouts, and can't really trully appreciate and tightly contested points win. Bit of a ramble, but... do you need to have boxed to trully appreciate the sport? If not, how can it be made more accessible to the general public as a highly skilled really enjoyable spectator sport. Dislike and ignorance seem to go hand in hand, if people knew more about boxing I think it would be supported a great deal more by T.V networks... Thoughts?!
