    Default Confederations Cup

    Anybody watching?

What Spain is doing to New Zealand is a bit horrific, 4-0 thirty minutes in, Torres with a hat trick.

Group A is Spain, New Zealand, Iraq and South Africa meaning this is just a fight for second place, very easy group compared to group B

Group B is Italy, Brazil, United States and Egypt.

The U.S. has Italy tomorrow, I give us somewhat of a chance at some kind of a result there, we usually play Italy fairly well and they are known as slow starters. But we've kind of sucked lately, Bradley should be fired but he won't.

Obviously we could play well and not even make it out of the group, nobody expects us too. Egypt is no gimmie and that's obviously the most winnable game.

I guess I would favor Spain even without Iniesta. Fabregas is fairly solid as a replacement

They look like favourites to win this and the world cup next year.

why I'm excited about this I don't know, it will just be frustrating as hell, our coach is distrustful of players that try to keep the ball away from the other team

Actually though the United States took the only point off Italy in the whole last World Cup, how that happens I don't fucking know

US should at the very worst take 3rd. Good win over egypt and perhaps a point from either brazil or italy and who knows what might happen.

Gotta believe it`ll be brazil-spain in the final though!!

For anyone wishing to put a few quid on the next world cup however do not look past argentina or the netherlands!!!

3-1 Brazil over Egypt, Egypt's not bad attack wise but their defense is a bit shit. To be fair Brazil's scored two pretty nice set piece goals but the first goal by Kaka was shitty defense.

To be honest I could see us losing all three. I just can't seem to find any confidence about a Bob Bradley led team.

Bornstein is horrible. Feilhaber makes one nice pass and then looks like a rec league player, just don't call him into camp, he's god awful. Ricardo Clark is too stupid to be on a national team, last ever start for him hopefully.

And Demarcus Beasley should find a job bagging groceries. Why was he brought on, he comes on and his one contribution is a pathetic cross that almost hit one of our guys in the back.

    Default Confederations Cup

Brazil just squeaked by Egypt and the US got fucking screwed!!!!!

The US was up 1-0 at half and then Ricardo Clark got sent off and Italy banged home 3 goals in the second half 2 of which were scored by AMERICAN BORN Giuseppe Rossi.

Damnit, I just made the same fucking thread.....MOOOOOOD can we merge these please

Clarke didn't make a nice tackle, but he didn't deserve to be sent off!

We need to stop with the fucking PK's and set pieces!!!
