I don't want him banned. BUt I would like to see his rep in the red. How he is in the green is beyond me.

I am going to put Xaduboxer on ignore. I recommend anyone else who doesn't appreciate his trolling posting do so also. I've never put a person on ignore ever on a message board, and I belong to a lot of them and am pretty good at just ignoring those that I have no interest in reading by not clicking their threads.
But I am considering this an experiment. Trolls exist and thrive on reaction. Remove the temptation to react, the ability to, you remove their fuel. What I suspect you are left with is a babbling bafoon, mostly talking to themselves. A vehicle that will soon run out of gas.
So this is what I am doing right after hitting Submit Reply, and I encourage others, heck everyone who has issues with him to do the same. Save a board. Starve a troll.
I'm the treasurer, eh?
In that case, you can all transfer funds directly into my bank. Or else give me some positive rep. You may choose.
The red rep button is a legitimate way to express displeasure without resorting to insults or tarnishing the pages of this site. So, in that respect I think this is a fair proposal set forth by Booze. If Xadu annoys you with something bizarre, then don't respond with childish attacks just send forth some of that potent red rep. And then your point has been made.
I've never been one to give out too much neg rep. But it is a an option that is always there if you need it. I think that we usually spend our time wanting to share appreciation by sending postitive reps and that we forget the neg rep button is even there. But sometimes it probably should be used.
I kind of doubt that Xadu cares that much about negative rep but maybe I'm wrong.
Or you can always insult all you want on here.
Miles your avatar kinda disturbs me a bit.
Here is where I stronly disagree. I can't emphasize our disagreement enough.
I enjoy giving the posters I enjoy or people with good points nice rep. But there aren't that many of them. So I logically have to spread it to meritless or not as favourable posters/posts.
Well doesn't it make more sense to spread some negative rep to people who earned it, rather than positive rep to people who didn't?

In fact, it would give the rep more substance. SUbstance which Bilbo and others have been arguing that hasn't been there since the cc/sc if we take my new red rep heavy approach. (Although since the Saddo rep adjustment ratio I think this is really a minute issue).

Its red for a reason ya know.I had 9 sc's within 48 hrs on the grounds of bad sentence structure alone.Spam-boxer is due
.He's a reactionary and pushes buttons free from leash.
pop-tarts and coffee...good shitzz
I've never understood why people were so hesitant to dole out the neg reps, I used to give out quite a bit to the trolls on a fairly regular basis.
However, now that I'm a Mod I feel like I should curtail my neg repping and I haven't given out any in a while.
