Default Shawn George vs Chris Henry July 10 ESPN

Gerorge and Henry interesting match up. Will Chris approve from his loss from Yusaf Mack. Will George keep up his excellence in the LH division. Both fighters will come in great shape. Henry can take a punch and will try to wear Shawn down. Shawn will use the same plan Yusaf did. Rights and follow up with the left hook.

I am leaning towards Henry and the reason why I am bias. Dont want George to look better then my KID(MACK).

    Good luck to both fighters.

Interesting fight. Aside from beating the ghost of Chris Byrd, I haven't seen George do anything that makes me think he could beat Henry.

Its not a bad fight I guess, I was never impressed with George really before he beat the skeletor version of Byrd so I'd favor Henry.

This is a good fight. Henry will press for the duration of the fight. This should be a close one, which is what is really important.

Henry has never won outside TX. Lets see how he fairs in Philly.

Henry has an iron jaw, but that's about all.

Mack was just better and only had one arm and he beat Henry. Henry is one tough mother and fights a bit rough.

I agree with you that the Byrd fight is all George is really going on, I think Henry will hurt George but George will not be able to hurt Henry

I say Henry stops him or batters him to a decision

Very Interesting matchup. The winner moves on and the loser is deemed to journey men.

I like Henry here I am being bias because a win makes my boy Mack look better. Henry has to move his head and know win to throw his punches because George will look to counter and counter he will.

I hear George talking a lot and comeFriday will be his turn to back it up. Should be an excitng fight. I cant wait!!

    Any thoughts?

Well let's face it, Henry used his head to almost gas out Mack. I mean, one arm aside, Mack delivered a ton of shots from his power hand directly to that cement pumpkin otherwise known as Henry's head and in particular that one round that would likely have levelled a buick, but yet, Henry then went on to start winning rounds. Mack showed grit and pulled it out in the late rounds by coming back on, but not before looking in trouble, fighting with his mouth open. But Mack earned the win deservedly.

So, yea, I think the deal is to outbox Henry, and wisely. And don't count on finishing him off with that obv. opening his has for the overhand right. I don't know enough about George to know what he brings. But also, in retrospect, and after Macks last fight and his effectiveness with the left hook that was missing against Henry, it would have been a different fight for Mack had he had it.

Cliff notes : Don't try to KO Henry. Outbox him.

Shawn George has always seemed unsure of himself and shaky, and just not all that good to me.

He looked great against Chris Byrd but I mean Chris Byrd looked beyond weight drained. He was terrible in there.

I gotta go with the bully on this one.

    Chris Henry by early TKO.
