This game f**king rock's.
Did you pre-order it ? or does it come out earlier in the USA ? because it don't come out until tomorrow here in the UK, what rating would you give it ? and is the career mode any good ?
For our Gamestop (don't know if you have these) they were the first one in Tri-state area ( Pennsylvania,New Jersey,New York) to get it on Tuesday evening. My jaw dropped when they said they released it on Tuesday and I didn't have it.
Out of all the fight night's this is easily by far the best and as for other games this ranks up there with the very best of them. You have a legacy mode, you can schedule fight dates, check IM's. It looks as if they done away with that ridiculouslessness of fighter people over and over until you are braindead. You climb the rank's starting from 50. The graphics are the thing that did it for me. Everyone looks real and the crowd is much better looking, who actual interact with what's going on in the ring not just cheering to cheer. One punch KO's are back and are simply awesome. My only gripe is that there is no button mashing anymore. I have a PS3 and you can't just hit the button's to throw punches. Now you must use the total punch control whereas before you had a choice. No I have to retrain myself to use the total punch control.
Time does fly with this game I started at about 4:00 P.M. and ended at 9:00 I have 8 fight's with 8 Ko's ( hold the applause please ). I would easily give this a 10 out of 10.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
I haven't even played Legacy mode yet. I was in a hurry after I picked up the game and was only able to play a couple of fights.
Graphically, responsiveness, effects, and the fighting system is simply amazing! I can't wait to get into legacy and online modes.
BTW, did anyone else suck their teeth when they saw "Fight Night Store" at the bottom of the main menu? Oh boy! They are soooooo going to suck more money out of me by putting fighters up for sale in that place.
This is the best that I have ever played wthout a doubt. The Boxers, the styles, everything about the Boxers is dead on. The CABs are great also, you can download a boxer and add them to your system which is pretty cool. Like for example, there was a pretty good looking David Haye face and so I downloaded that adjusted his stats a bit, his trunks, etc. and it really does look like Haye. I've added about 10 or 11 boxers and more still to come.
I haven't played that much of the Legacy mode, but I've done 3 Pro fights and it really is much more realistic. Training sessions, how you schedule the fights etc. It's much much more involved than the other Fight Nights. Also, fighting boxers on the G.O.A.T mode is fucking tough! I fought Tyson with Klitschko and I was holding my own and out of nowwhere he lands his uppercut. The CPU is very hard which is good I like it. I still haven't found any negatives about this game. 10.0/10.0
Finally picked up my copy im loving it so far, haven't played it much because i had to go out. But im loving the fast responsive controls. I like that they have realistic range now aswell, like when i was Tommy Hearns i was able to just jab and move without hardly getting caught.
The computer is also alot tougher which i like, the two games i played they both went the distance. One where i was SRL against Tommy Hearns, i had to use tactics to beat the computer and it was a tough match.
i just got my copy 3 hrs ago. i give it a 8 overall. im 14-0 with 14kos.
1 thing i really like about the game is where u can download other boxers that other people created. like some people created floydmayweather and tito trinidad and make look exactly how they look. thats pretty cool![]()
