Default Freddie Roach on REAL SPORTS with Bryant Gumbel

Freddie has a story on his life but it mostly about living with his Parkinsons disease. Makes you feel for the guy.

HBO replays the show often so hopefully you can catch it.

    I saw it.

Pretty good piece on Freddie Roach.

His Father sounds like he was a real asshole.

    Just like Gerry Cooney's Dad.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"

I felt bad when they were talking about how much Freddie was physically abused yet still seeking the approval of his father. Then eventually the last thing he ever said to his father before he died was "Go F*ck yourself." The boxing world has so many stories outside of the ring...

I'd think the reason alot of these guys fight is because of those stories outside the ring.

Pretty sad about Roach; never knew that. Go F#ck Yourself lol.

I always liked the guy a lot, I know he's not that much popular over here but I stick with the fact that I quite like him and that he's not worst in what he said than the whole Mayweather family or Manny Swewart when he talked about Pavlik.

    Thus said, any potential links?

Because I am so cool, cute, intelligent, canadian and most of humble, here's the link for the interested ones, I found it:

p.s: forget the cute and intelligent part, I just had a very bad last 2 days and trying to convince myself in order to get back to a normal mood.

A really good piece that although the interviewer seemed like a haemaphrodite.

The bit about the last thing he said to his father was harsh, his Dad sounds bad, but something like that would stick with you forever. Didn't realize he had no kids, explains a lot about how he is with his fighters.

Theinterviewer is Mary Carillo; does all of the majortournaments in tennis. I actually like her; commanding voice though it does make you wonder if she's got some saggy balls

Easily the deepest voiced female I've ever seen.
