Bit of a random topic but i was just watching, this old Alexis Arguello fight and the guy he was fighting reminded me a bit of Edwin Valero. Especially with the power. Here's one clip of the fight.

Ganigan was one awkward brute.Ice have you seen his demolition and detonation of O'Grady.........could have swept him off the canvas with a dustpan.
When I saw the title I thought you were going another route.I picture Arguello/Valero like this

IMO Alexis would have handily broken Valero down and boxed him into submission

No i haven't but i've heard about it, this is the 1st time i've seen this fight. I was quite shocked how good it was, i was expecting another Alexis Arguello blow out. But too my suprise he was knocked down. And actually very hurt in that great 3 round.
Andrew Ganigan sure could bang, and his Southpaw style aswell as dynamite in both hands. Reminded me of Edwin Valero when i was watching it.
I've been watching alot of Alexis Arguello lately, just watched his two brutal fights with Alfredo Escalera again. And his fights against Ray Mancini, Rey Tam, Rafael Limon.
Im gonna watch his fight against Jose Luis Ramirez later, because some people thought he lost that fight. And i'd like to see his fight with Ruben Castillo again.
