Default *Main Events Statement on Gatti's death*

“With all due respect to the Brazilian authorities, we knew Arturo Gatti and we do not believe that he took his own life. Members of Arturo’s family, along with his boxing manager Pat Lynch, are conducting their own investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death. We believe that once the results of that investigation are revealed, the truth will come to light and justice will be done.”

I guess I am not alone. I soon as I heard this I said I don't believe the Brazilians( no offense ) Arturo wouldn't and couldn't do that. Not to mention Arturo's wife is Brazilian. Ok maybe that's reaching a bit but come on.

I dont know, when you read what he had been getting up to out in public and the public taking sides with his misses and throwing stones at him etc, there was no way he was operating in his right mind.
    Sad ending either way.
