I was looking at the latest ring magazine and there is an article on the top ten people Manny Pacquiao could fight and to my suprise i saw Kelly Pavlik lol could this fight ever happen? and if it did who would win, it would be unbelievable for Manny to do this and its a fight i can only dream will happen.

It could never happen, Pavlik would kill him (literally) inside a minute

anyone at 154 would cause serious harm to Pacquiao imagine what a natural Middleweight with power would do to him, people are seriously getting ridiculous with this whole weight jumping crap, Jermaine Taylor a much bigger man than Pacquiao couldn't take Pavlik's shots, sorry to sound cruel but if Pacquiao fought Pavlik or anyone with power at that weight, at best, he'd end up like Oscar Diaz

One thing I'm sure of is that if negotiations took place for them meet at a catchweight of 158 lbs everyone would still moan about Manny draining his opponents and looking for easy ways to conquer a weight class.

If PAC (or his camp or whatever) doesn't think PAC will be at maximum performance at 147 why in the world would they even look at middleweights? No way this would happen.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

These catch weights ideas are slowly but surely drifting on the very ludicrous side of boxing, worst idea ever if you ask me.

And just when I thought that this catchweight crap couldn't get any worse.....

I'd love to see him fight Pavlik, maybe Manny's head could get stuck up Pavlik's arse by accident, maybe the BS from his camp / lovers would die down a little then......

Almost all what has been said above was said when Manny signed to fight Oscar.

After who he has beaten I would say Pac-Man stands a chance against anybody.(apart from very big blokes)

if by anybody you mean shot fighters who starve themselves to make a weight that benefits only Pacquiao, than you're right, and as Killersheep said, if he wont even fight Cotto at the max limit of welterweight, he has no reason to look at any jr.middleweights or middleweights

Reading from your posts I know you're an Oscar fan (you can't call me a Pacnuthugger), but didn't your idol weight drain Bernard Hopkins at 158 to fight for his MW titles? In one thread you were defending that and then said what Pacquiao is doing to COtto is wrong. Let's have some consistency here.

And it was your idol that called out the former flyweight champion to fight him for another big pay day. Your idol Oscar has a habit of making guys jump 2 weight classes to fight him or weight drain his opponents. Shane Mosely is another example of an 135 pound guy jumping 2 weight classes to fight him at 147, Bernard Hopkins weight draining himself to 158, Pacman jumping 2 weight classes, etc.

If Pacman learned how to maximize his advantages in the ring, it's probably from Oscar.
