Being an American I'd like to congratulate the fighters from Europe and their fans over there for winning in the Super Six opening round last night. Good Luck to Froch and Abraham in the future.

Am i the only Brit that feels odd when our american friends describe us collectively as 'europeans'? I can honestly say i've never felt 'european' in my life!

yea seeing how Froch already got to use his subs last night, having the judges in his pocket sure came in handy now didn't it , the biggest hype-job in the division and i really wouldn't rate him higher than Lacey when he was undefeated

Froch is the weakest link for the Euro's by miles. The fact he got a win basically means Team America are finished.

Good idea about Lacy. He could be subbed in for Dirrell or Taylor to make it fairer. Team America's selctors need sacking for making them a laughing stock. Lets be honest

Froch isn't shit at all and he's a hell of a lot better than lacy. Do you think any of these fighters will hit Direll? He made froch look like shit because he has superhuman speed. None of these guys will look good against dirrell. They will all be swinging at air. Froch will win the tournament because none of the other guys are as fast as dirrell and when froch can lay gloves on someone, he'll win.
