Default Taylor should fight on in the tourney- one good reason (imo) why

Taylors next fight is against andre ward - a decent puncher but nothing in the realms of abraham, froch or pavlik. This is a guy taylor can beat - and i think would beat. This would be a fight where even if he lost he wouldnt get knocked out (probably)

    Thoughts?

One you get a concussion the next one is easier to get. After Taylor's last couple of fights, he needs to hang them up, he'll be in greater danger if he keeps on fighting.

Money is the only reason Taylor should be fighting.....If he has a pile saved up he should quit, if he spent it all and is broke, keep fighting, just be more conservative and try not to get hit.....Fight to finish the fight healthy, not to win.....And cash the million dollar checks........ That is what I would do....

They should snatch taylor out of this touney say he got an injury and put in allan green, pavlik, hell some damn body else. There is no one in this tourny he can beat. No if the tourny was butter bean four round style then maybe.

    Green is the first alternate.

I disagree that Taylor should continue he's taken some horrible punishment, time to retire. The concussion he got was a bad one too, memory loss is not a good sign.

And doctors are people who lookout for your health...

I think Taylor should fight on. Had he listened to his trainer a little more, I think he could have won. His trainer was telling him to step back and throw the big right hand. Also... where was the body work? I guess he could locate his stomache without hitting him in the ballllllzzzzz http://www.saddoboxing.com/boxingfor...s/shocking.gif

Taylor has not only lost 4 out of his last 5 he's gotten BRUTALLY KO'd 3 times and he got beaten around a bit by Bernard Hopkins twice.

It may have been different had he just gotten tired in those fights, but he doesn't just get tired he gets weary from taking too many punches as well.

I'd rather watch Taylor fight on than see Allan Green get a shot. Green would get whooped by everyone in this tournament, including Taylor.

Green has bigger power than Taylor...sure Green fought like a chicken vs Miranda but I think he's settled down a bit and if anything he's fresher than Taylor at this point in time.

I think everyone would rather Pavlik be in this competition but hell I don't see him beating many of the fellas in here considering how poorly he's done at 166/168

yeah I mean.. Pavlik's 0 for 1 for crying out loud at +160!

You think these guy would really take him to school that easy? I think Pav would give all these guy plenty of trouble. If he's so beatable how come he only has 1 loss to a top p4p fighter (BHop, that is.. at least according to other people).
