Not to say I told you so, but I did

Ever since this fight has been signed i've been very open about what I felt was gonna happen and it seemed right on the money tonight.

Pacquiao won't give Cotto ANY chance to regain his confidence. Once Cotto is discouraged, it's over and he is done and will take punishment until its stopped. Boxing is more mental then physical, and Cotto mentally isn't the same fighter and at this point in his career he needs more then one tough fight back after what mentally scarred him in the Margarito fight. Pacquiao is gonna re-open that scar and implant a preferment memory in Cotto, and it's one he won't come back from. Not this fight.


That's why I didn't order the fight (I went to watch it at a neighbors house instead lol)

But I do give credit to Cotto that he didn't want the fight to be stopped, and I think this loss to Pacquiao may be the confidence boost he needed to get back to what he can get through. He even in taking a beating proved to himself that he can stay in there and take the punishment, the doubts about it in the Margarito fight he was afraid of happening again, well it happened but this time he didn't quit and didn't fold, he wanted to finish the fight on his feet and I give Cotto all the credit in the world for that. Cotto gained a fan in me tonight by his heart. As far as Pacquiao goes, he did what I thought he would, still a fan but I'm more of a Cotto fan after tonight.


So big big big credit to Cotto tonight, he lost in a one sided fashion that I thought he would but he never quit, and I think that is what he needed to know about himself.
