Thread: golden gloves- new england

Does anyone know if there will be sub-novice, novice, and open divisions in the New England Golden Gloves? Also, are the weight classes in line with the standard USA boxing divisions?

I'm from the Midwest so I am not exactly sure how that area does it. I don't know why the novice division would run different weight classes. But I'm sure the open division is mandated to run the weight divisions according to US boxing standards. National tournaments have to have the same weight class winners from each Golden Gloves region in order to compile their tournament brackets. Are you entering the Gloves? If so, around what weight class and what division?
