Thread: An act of God but not again this year please lord!

Last year, a lot of fights we wanted to see never happened and we are not even done with January and we get our first major cancellation of the year for a fight I personally was looking forward to seeing a long with a few under cards for that event. I know this was an act of God that saved Berto from the spanking he was going to get, but please Lord, don't let this be an indication of things to come Last year, we were very disappointed in all the fights that were canceled.

My prayers are still with Mr. Berto and his entire family and I hope from the bottom of my heart, that God give you and your people the will and the strength to overcome such a horrific tragedy.

I still hope to see Berto back in the ring soon. Again, may God grant him the strength and the courage he so probably desperately needs right about now.

....there are tons of great fights out there to be made. I just wish people would stop trying to put the same two guys in them. This is boxing, not floydpacing.

I personally could give two shits about PAC/Mayweather. You don't hear me talk all that much about these two right now. What I am talking about is all the fights that were canceled last year was a bit disappointing. Again, I was so looking forward to Berto/Mosley. We wont have Mosley around for ever and he is at the end of his illustrious career.

the dude just lost 8 family members, his sister and niece are left homeless, given that i could care less about his fight with Mosley right now, he has bigger things to deal with, and if he would have gone ahead with the fight i'm not really sure Mosley would/should have gotten much credit for beating a emotionally drained, unfocused fighter who shouldn't have been in a fight
