When does a boxing match get classed as being unlicensed? In Britain we have the British Boxing Board Of Control, whose fights get listed as official contests on Boxrec.

We also have the EBF and British Boxing Federation. All three organisations have licensed boxers, yet the EBF and BBF boxers do not have their records listed on Boxrec.

Now you may say well there not worthy and they shouldn’t be listed. But should the Latvians who have been boxing each other in four round bouts in gyms in Latvia be listed on Boxrec.

These bouts make it look as if they have had a few fights, when in fact there just basically having a spar to pad out there records. They then go abroad and get stopped in one or two rounds.

Also does anyone on here consider the following organisations to be real World titles? WBU, WBF, IBA, IBC, GBU. I don’t but boxers who box for these meaningless titles still get listed on Boxrec.

In MMA there are lots of different organisations, yet the fighters records all get listed no matter which organisation they box for.

Boxrec and other boxing record sites should report results fairly and not be biased towards organisations or federations.
