Arnaoutis vs. Rodriguez in April on FNF
Mighty Mike is stepping up to Welterweight against Delvin Rodriguez, with a clear message "Pacquiao and Mayweather can no longer duck me"
Arnaoutis 22-4-2 (10 KOs) got the shaft in one of the biggest robberies of 2009 against Tim "Pitbull" Coleman. Punch stats from that fight 210/688 31% (Arnaoutis) to 177/602 29% (Coleman). Although punch stats don't tell the whole story, Mike was dictating the pace and real estate for most of the fight, Coleman's most effective attack was a headbutt to the swollen eye.
Rodriguez 24-4-2 (14 KOs) is still trying to find his identity after sending Oscar Diaz to the hospital. Since that happened he is 1-2-1 with a good win over Shamone Alvarez, but some pretty telling defeats to Hlatschwayo and Jackiewicz.
This fight will be happening at Welterweight, so we'll see it's going to be tough for either of these guys to get bigger fights at welter regardless of who wins. Still this should be a relatively even match-up and should be a good tactical battle.
Demetrius Andrade is scheduled to fight on the undercard.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
