    and their fans. Awesome game!

Brees played a great game, they all did. Manning while a great quarterback, choked. Oops.

Can't think of a city in the US that could use the morale boost more, so enjoy it, get crunk, get stoopid, nail the one closest to ya and wake up not remembering when/where you fell over with 1/2 eaten chicken wings sticking to ya and a big shit-eating grin, to realize..."YAAAEEEEEH BABYYYY, WE WON!"

Hee-Hee, seems like we posted the same thing at the same moment Manning is by far the greatest of his generation but tonight it just wasn't enough. I said it since week 7: This year, it'll be the Saints because they look wayyy too much like they were on a mission. Tonight confirms it. It is a very happy ending for many reasons, because Brees deserved it, because the team with their very limited recorded deserved finally it and well, because New-Orleans deserves it better than any other cities in the world.... including my beloved PIttsburgh.

Well I guess we don't have to hear from the media anymore on how Manning is the greatest or will be the greatest QB of all time. I still go with a prime Joe Montana, that mofo never even threw a pick in the SB!

Actually, Manning beats him in every domains except for the number of rings yet... Manning is the guy who's re-writing every damn books of records, it's staggering. And I am not a fan but well, gotta give the man his due I guess :S

As much as I loathed their approach to the game against the Vikings, I did enjoy watching last night's game, and I'm sure Bourbon street is still scattered with the drunken bodies of those too sozzled to get home last night, picking themselves up and yelling before starting to walk home.

As for the playcalling, Payton has stones the size of mount rushmore! Trying to go for the TD at the end of the first didn't quite work, but the D got the ball back and was somewhat vindicated. The onside kick however, gutsiest call ever! That's when I thought it wouldn't be too bad for them to win, but I don't buy in to all the hoohaa about a city recovering from disaster. It's just a great win.

I was kinda sorta watching while I was working but I saw them go 10 points or so down before half time and I thought oh well, never mind. But they went and turned it around pretty well. Have a nice time Spicoli.

These Americans obviously don't understand the rules.

That was quite clearly a forward pass by the scrum-half.

Okay I'll revoke that part of my statement, god knows the closest I've been to Louisiana can be measured in the hundreds if not thousands of miles!

But if you guys pick on lil 'ol Brett Favre again there'll be trouble!

I basically picked the Saints as the team to follow when I first started watching NFL, with Katrina as the main motivation. If any team needed or deserved this it's them, and I'm delighted for their fans, and particularly Spicoli. Also, when I went to see them play the Chargers at Wembley, it was such an awesome atmosphere, it's great to see those same players victorious. Gwan Saints
