Does this guy has of jab,or what?!?Sure his opponent Daniel Dawson wasn't top notch opposition, but still...a very dominating performance by Dzinziruk...would have been nice to see the punch stats on this one...

I got bored and started watching Karate Kid III instead
But yes he does have a good jab for what I watched of the fight.
You "crowd pleasing fight" loving Americans just can't appreciate a one-sided, technical fight...![]()

He's a good fighter. Isn't an Angulo fight a possibility? I think he wins that.
I thought it was a brilliant performance. Boxing 101. That right jab is a thing of beauty.
Angulo is there to be whipped and outboxed one sidedly. But who is really at 154 ?
Just saw the replay of this, and this guys looks like a solid boxer. His nickname is razor, but it should be lazer for his jab. Great jab, very accurate and has pop to it. He's got a great right hand for a southpaw. I wanna see him fight another step up or two before jumping in against either Sergio Martinez or Paul Williams.
Sergei is my favorite Russian these days, if he is in fact Russian.
He's badass and is among the most accurate punchers in boxing. I want to see him in some big fights so I'm glad to now learn that he was fighting in America on that night. I mean he's been on the radar for a while but he's awesome. People were hating on him in the chat, not really him but the quality of his fight. I actually thought the fight was entertaining, because I like seeing guys who don't let their opponents off the hook. Sergei is the man, very economical and razor sharp.
Not seen him fight.... Seriously slipping these days. Gonna watch it right now!

At 34, it is a bummer Dzinziruk didn't break into the world scene until now because the guy seems to have a high boxing IQ and yes, the guy has a crisp jab (Emmanual Stewart probably crapped his pants when he saw it). Santos and Julio are good wins but not great although he dominated both of them. In terms of style, however, they are completely different fighters than Angulo. And as a common opponent, Angulo knocked Julio out, but that says little because Dzinziruk outclassed him too.
Do we know if Dzinziruk has a chin and how has he fared against pressure fighters?
I rate Angulo and I see him knocking out Dzinziruk. But, I can be convinced otherwise. Show me how he fared against a pressure fighter in the past.
I take issue with your post. 54' is actually a deep division. Although Angulo can be outboxed, he is a very capable pressure fighter and he packs a wallop of a punch. At 154, assuming Kirkland's career is over, I'd only favor Martinez and Williams over him. I'd favor him against Dzinziruk, Foreman, Cotto if he remains at 154 after his next fight, Santos, probably Martirosyan, Latimore, and Spinks at this point.

Dzinziruk-Angulo in the works
The WBO has ordered a very attractive jr. middleweight championship bout between champion Sergij Dzinziruk and interim champion Alfredo Angulo. Promoters for fighters have been given 15 days to reach an agreement or the bout will go to purse bid (minimum bid is $200,000). Angulo is promoted by Gary Shaw Productions and Dzinziruk is promoted by Gary Shaw Productions and Banner Promotions.

Interesting to see how Dzinziruk takes a punch, but I think he wins a comfortable decision
Btw, Dzinizruk is Ukrainian. Damn , they have good jabs, look at Wlad and even Vitali .
Dzi is a really good fighter but something tells me that he spent some of his best years in Europe...
At this point it doesnt make sense for Maravilla but a fight vs. Dzi would be a tactical battle I'd love to see.
I'm with Majesty on this one. I didn't watched Karate Kid III but I changed the channel after round 3.
