I think I read on here that adamek wants to gather some experience fighting against tall opponents, get himself prepapred for one of the klits or something. Anyways though I don't think one can complain to much about who adamek fights because he's super active so its not like one has to wait to long before seeing him in another match up...but yeah would rather see him fight someone else.

If that was the case one would think: Alexander Dimitrenko, Tony Thompson, Ray Austin....maybe even Lance Whittaker, but Michael Grant?!?!?!

    Adamek will CARRY him 3

Grant is on a run of good form at the moment. Since the Guinn fight he has 8 wins and has been putting guys away quickly ( no names worth anything ) but he will be trying to win which makes it interesting.

Grant has a massive size advantage and Adamek will use this as an opportunity to try things out against a bigger man in prep for the Klits. After this he wants to fight either Holyfield or Sam Peter in November. Tomasz got a test last time in Arreola, Grant wont give him that many problems but it will be interesting to see how it unfolds. Adamek wins whatever happens

If he is just looking to get in and make some rounds with a taller guy to get used to it then fighting guys like Thompson, Austin etc is foolish because all are big men who can be dangerous so why chance the loss...Adamek is still adjusting to the weight...Cant really say he is looking for soft opp because he foughjt Arreola who is a dangerous HW for anyone and a legit top 10 of the bunch....

IMO this is a good move just as long as it does not become a habit

It's Adamek's 4th fight over 12 months. He doesn't need to take a monster to extra tire him, Grant is a good choice to just keep him busy, give him more affinities with his new trainer and to give him experience against bigger men. It was more about it all together than finding him another top ranked opponent, to not empty the guy and to give him experience and chemistry he needs. Good choice by Main Event.
