Thread: Warren wins purse bid for Macklin v Barker about bloody time this happened!!!

Was going to post a thread saying Warren has not got one card arranged for the coming monts since the Jennings/ O'Donnell fight was scrapped but now he has won the purse bids for Barkers euro title defence against Macklin, this fight had to be made pretty 50/50 fight we have on are hands, and recently both have question marks.

Barker after his last performance I thought his stamina looked a little suspect in a tough 12 rounder and only just about won, then there's Macklin who just can't seem to settle he has had more trainers and promoters in his short career than just about anyone, so who know's what his mindset is like as he vacated this title Barker now owns to move onto bigger and better things but once again nothing has happened and he is now fighting for his old title.

Barker I thought had a chance to mix in world class prior to his last fight but as so many brits Brook/Mitchell etc etc there resume is packed with so much shit that you just don't really no how good they are, and after his last fight I now fancy Macklin who if is anywhere near his best to stop Barker late maybe 9/10th round.

Great about time, thought they would miss the boat with this one. Hope Macklin wins, never rated Barker and think he will be exposed.

This should be a good fight early man but I take Macklin to grind Barker down though with barker resorting to a lot of movement. Barker was kind of exposed for me last time out, so this time Macklin will expose him good and proper I say, slowing him down with good body work and stopping him late between 10 - 12
