Click to enlarge, having problems linking the pic for some reason :/

Anyone got any news on this? Looks like the talks are really in process. I have wanted this fight for years now.

I'll believe it will happen when Valuev steps in the ring.....in his prime Vitali stops Valuev in 2, right now it's probably a wide UD or late stoppage.

Don King will keep this fight from happening

Vitali said after his last fight if he can't get Haye he'd be looking to fight Valuev.

looks like he didn't get Haye

Vitali takes him (I think) at this stage.

I think they could build this fight up to be huge though considering the size of these two fellas.

It could be a great fight, I honestly think it would be really interesting and good for the division. Vitali never spoils because he is always using his reach to keep guys away and Valuev does the same, so we will get plenty of punches landed I reckon.

Yeh, would be great for the division. If promoters and fighters want the public to be interested and excited in the heavyweight scene again then these fights need to happen and quick. If the fight happens and vitali comes out an impressive winner, then it would leave haye nervous. I think Vitali would be up for it and I believe it would have huge amount of coverage and tickets sold. Main thing is to get haye v a klitshcko and valuev v vitali as soon as possible.

Really?? Vitali hasn't been in a fun fight since losing to Lennox Lewis, and Valuev has never been in a fight that didn't completely blow.

It has all the ingredients for a completely dire, insipid cowpat of a fight.

Not at all, Vitali would be fighting a bigger man who is pretty damn durable. It won't be an inside fight or a one sided bash up of a smaller guy.

The reason Vitali ain't been in an exciting fight since Lewis is because he was always the bigger man and he uses his size to full effect. Valuev ain't the quickest of fighters but he managed to tag Haye once or twice, Vitali is about 3x less mobile than Haye.

Vitali! Vitali Klitschko is the winna!

Seems like yesterday we were all spoofing Valuev and here he remains.

Valuev is arguably the least exciting fighter of all time. What do you really think will happen that will be fun in this fight?

They may both be giants but they move about as fast as tectonic plates and it will be as exciting a contact as two glaciers 'colliding' at 0.5 metres per year.

Here is an exciting video of a glacial timelapse. Now we know glaciers have massive force and can completely reshape an enviroment over time, but even sped up several hundred times they are as boring as piss to watch.

Vitali vs Valuev is slightly less exciting than this imo.

I hope we hear something soon for this fight. If it does happen I say Valuev quits on the stool after 10 rounds.

Cant really get excited about this one.Their is one selling point here....size.Belongs more under a carnival side show tent for me.Valuev is arguably 3-3 in last six fights and lost convincingly to Haye.He doesn't deserve to drag his knuckles right back into a championship fight. An aged and very active Vitali has absolutely everything to lose here and runs the risk of constant mockery should he....Haye will be first in line.

Vitali Klitachko lose to Valuev? How would that scenario play out? Unless he injures himself, Klitschko should look like The Flash against Valuev.

I just woke from a nap and I am very hungry right now, so maybe things aren't as they shold be in my mind's eye.
