On the BBC saying that they are talking to 4 or 5 fighters about the next fight, which will be in the next 4 months.
He also said one of them is definitely Audley, but there are a few hurdles to get over before any deal is done.

24 Beers in a slab, 24 hours in the day.......go figure.
Well, well, well....so its Audley and 4 or 5 names to distract everyone with until the Audley fight is signed. How do the Chicken Little fans feel about this?
The fight probably won't happen until January or February also.
When will people start to believe me about this fraud? What else does the guy have to do to make what I say about him more credible?
Who could those other names be? I think Haye needs to be more active anyway not fighting for another 4 months? This could be his undoing maybe not next fight but eventually.
I'm sure it's been discussed many times. Main reasons why Haye will fight harrison is that it is seen as an easy fight and will do HUGE business in the UK. The general public will still be fooled by Harriosn as a genuine threat at world level and still think 'he won an olympic gold medal 10 years ago he must be 1 of the most devastating fighters in the world' lol
Look at how well Frank warren did promoting mitchell vs katsidis. if the harrison fight is promoted half as well it will be gigantic as haye and audley are much bigger names over here.
I used to come on this site probably 6 years ago or so and Audley was getting slated back then (by me too no doubt) and i can't believe that he has never learned from his mistakes. - you are a professional boxer you are going to have to take the odd punch, don't look so scared. Don't walk about with such an undeserved sense of achievement in the pro ranks.
Audley has excellent skills and shows a glimpse of them every now and then and he is a big bloke he just doesn't like taking a shot and looks like a rabbit caught in headlights everytime a punch is thrown at him.
Remember in Rocky 3 when Mickey tells rocky that ' thing that could happen to any fighter you became civilised'?
1 of the worst things that happened to Audley was getting that £1m dollar contract off bbc when turned pro the hunger and desire was taken away from him. He was already made for life. I know if i was a pro boxer with £1m in my bank account i woud struggle to go out running in the snow early in the moring when i could stay in my nice warm bed lol
David Haye should be able to blast Harrison out in 3-4 rounds. As long as the fight lasts Audley will always have a chance of catching haye and knocking him out especially if haye fights recklessley as he can be known to do. I'd hate to see audley win as he would think he's the greatest fighter ever to come out the uk when truth is Naz would probably have beaten him =0). Audley would expect to be forgiven for his career so far.

I think the 4 or 5 names will be the same ones we've heard mentioned before: James Toney, Hasim Rahman, David Tua, Nicolay Valuev, and maybe Chagaev, Povetkin, or Solis...but those talks won't be serious at all, merely a play where the Diva's manager can say "We tried to make a big fight happen but everyone was scared"
....Its a shame the guy even has a title
I am all for the Audley showdown before a Klitschko one - lets have a battle of Britain, long time since we had a high profile British scrap with two household names
However if Haye is going to take the best part of a year off afterwards then I am not so sure
and as i have said before , am a big Haye fan but if Audley won it would be hilarious![]()
Don't bully fat kids - they've got enough on their plate
Tua was a name i was thinking of that wouldn't be a bad match a lot of champs face faded fighters who were a force to be reckoned with at 1 point.
Valuev because it's contracted from their first fight.
Please not Toney or Rahman. Any of the others would be acceptable.
I don't actually mind if this fight happens but i pray david haye wins so we have some continuation in the heavyweight division. If Audley wins gona mess everything up
No I think the funniest thing that could happen os if the Harrison fight falls through and all of a sudden he's left with some lower level (if possible) British fighter.
Here are some recent actual quotes from Adam Booth regarding the next opponent for November.
There have been talks with fellow Londoner Harrison, 38, who revived his career by winning the European title with a last-gasp KO over Reading’s Michael Sprott in April.
But Haye’s trainer-manager Adam Booth said: “David is still saying, ‘Why the hell should I be fighting Audley when he’s not ranked in the top ten?’
“I’m not saying Audley is not a possibility. Nothing has been done yet and we are not moving ahead.
“I’ve spoken to Eddie Hearn a couple of times and I’ve also had offers from Bernard Hopkins and Shannon Briggs.
"Tomasz Adamek, with all the tickets he would sell to Poles living in Britain, is another possibility.
“But nothing is going to be decided for four or five weeks.
“I’ve not heard from the *Klitschkos in weeks.
“There is talk Vitali will fight Shannon Briggs next, we will see.”
So we have a second hand denial of wanting a fight vs Harrison.....well gee that's almost as good as hearing it straight from the horse's mouth, not that I would believe anything that bastard said
Also isn't it common practice for the Diva to disparage opponents he may (or may not) fight in the future? Why would it be any different with Audley? He's talked the most shit about Audley recently, about how "he's not top ten", "he doesn't deserve a shot" etc and yet he's still talking about Audley and a possible fight with him...odd no? I think he's just trying to stir the Brits up so he can MAYBE sell out 30K seats

Makes sense.
Can't hold it against Haye for making the fight just for the money but makes it worse when he speaks about being an all time great and a british legend. Would be more acceptable if he fought more often and was using audley as marking time fight while waiting for a meaningful fight.
