Default Devon Alexander vs Andriy Kotelnik My Scorecard

    1 Alexander
    2 Kotelnik
    3 Alexander
    4 Alexander
    5 Alexander
    6 Kotelnik
    7 Kotelnik
    8 Alexander
    9 Kotelnik
    10 Kotelnik
    11 Kotelnik
    12 Kotelnik

    115-113 Kotelnik

Im Devon Alexander fan, but im sorry he didn't win this fight. After the 5th round, Andriy Kotelnik turned it up, constantly landing stiff jabs and right hands, i don't care if Devon Alexander threw 100 punches in a round, most of his punches were blocked or wern't that effective.

Devon Alexander to me looked too erratic, it kinda reminded me of Jermain Taylor vs Arthur Abraham. With Jermain Taylor throwing alot of wasteful punches, and not concentrating enough on accuracy.

Finally what in the world was Harold Lederman watching ? that was terrible scoring.

I had it 116/112 robbery for me like you second half of the fight Kotelnik basically battered him, Alexander was running and throwing tip tappy shit that were just hitting gloves, Kotelnik won this fight clearly.

Watched it twice and Kotelnik was the daddy in there by far.

I thought people might of been going over the top, but they sure wern't. Devon Alexander seemed to throw too many wasteful punches, Andriy Kotelnik was just waiting in the early rounds, then he really went to work in the 2nd half, almost winning every round after the 5th round.

I think i might of underestimated Andriy Kotelnik, i know he's quite good technically. And he's quite sturdy, i was expecting a 12 rounder. But he gave a very good account of himself.

IMO he done ok against Amir Khan aswell, but he waited too long to get going. I thought he swept the later rounds vs Amir Khan if i remember rightly.

Kotelnik is a proven world-class fighter. He only became a shit-cunt when Khan thrashed him ().

He had ZERO chance of getting the decision in Alexander's backyard. That's just the shitty way boxing works.

That's karma for the decision he got against Maidana in his home town.

Like you said, the shitty way boxing works some times.

I thought the Maidana decision was fair. It was a close fight that could have gone either way. I think I scored it for Maidana by a round, but I can't really remember. I do recall that there were a lot of close rounds and I think the decision was justified.

Yeah ledermans scoring was atrocious, like devon was throwin punches that weren't touching kotelnik at all, I mean not even gloves or anything, just air. As someone else said kotelnik was the daddy in there and I would have much rather been kotelnik for the majority of the fight. I actually expected a borring fight with devon geting an easy decision so when it actually turned out into a nice fight I was pleasantly surprised but yeah the decision sucked big time. I think lederman scores decently most of the time, but every once in a while there is one of these fights where you're just left to wonder what in the heck he was watching.

I didn't score the fight. I wished I had, but Harold Lederman was making me sick with his shitty scorecard.

I haven't been this upset with Lederman since Barrera-Marquez. He scored it 114-113 for Barrera.

yeah.. at the final bell, when i saw kotelnik raising his hands i was saying to my self why is he raising his hands? does he really think hes gonna take devon's belt in devon's turf? he had to do what pirog did if he really wanted to beat devon and he was capable of doing so.
