Hi guys, I'm a newbie here so I'm not sure if this is posting in the right place...
I'm 20, 5'4 and 10st 4. I've been doing MMA for about 9 months but would like to get more in to cross training in pure arts (if that makes sense) I'd like to train in boxing, and BJJ and use the skills I learn in both to put together in my MMA sessions and of course in future MMA fights.
I have always enjoyed boxing despite being small, I enjoy boxing against people with longer reaches and trying to get inside, land my shots then jab away. I know that I'm pretty heavy to fight at 5'4 but I was wondering if you could give me some advice on how to keep my weight? I'm not very lean so I was thinking of training to get leaner and then see how much I weigh and adjust accordingly? What do you think?
I'm also still trying to find a club so any advice would be appreciated
