In all seriousness though, hard to imagine Pavlik ever getting back to the top, with the hand injuries, rib injuries, illness and management problems. I think he's pretty much done.

I think so too.

....man how fast times change. Now the only time i see pavlik in the news either he's loosing or injured.

Pavlik is only 28 and pretty much washed up. That's boxing for ya.

The most interesting thing about Rafael's article is the second sentence:


"When asked if it had anything to do with Pavlik's ongoing alcohol problem, he declined to answer."

This. He either lost or backed out of his last four fights against Mora, Martinez, Williams, and now Vera. It's a shame but the man is done.
