Great news. I'm glad they've cleared up the Middleweight title situation. That was getting confusing.

Hmmm, so by signing to fight different opponents they become a champion? Martinez becomes the WBC champion Emeritus and Zbik becomes the "full" WBC champion? And when they do fight they fight for the made up and still no criteria Diamond Belt? So now 3 titles are on the line? Hmmm, I'm glad they cleared this up because I thought this was only for 1, and still counting, of the 20 WBC world title belts.

Someone simply has to get a hold of this shit by the nuts and squeeze the life out of them. Martinez needs to say balls to the WBC.

So the WBC strip Martinez of his belt and then give him some bullshit title and make this fight for the 'Diamond belt' so that they can have extra sanctioning fees? Good people

Oh well, I guess it's another Champion rule exception "Emeritus Champion" explanation was suppose to be for Champions that retire and then come out of retirement to fight for a Championship belt, allowing him to bypass the #1 challenger spot.

If you read between the lines, It all about collecting sanctioning fees for the WBC. If they simply strip Martinez, then they lose any potential sanctioning fee. By making Martinez a Emeritus Champion they are able to send him a bill in the future and still collect sactioing fees from the new Champion that is given the belt.

They are slowly mocking themselves into irrelevancy. They know WE know its all bullshit and they are cashing the fook out
