Anyone know much about him? I know Freddie Roach trains him somewhat at the Wildcard gym in LA and that he beat Brian Vera in a ten round decision. I also know that Andy Lee beat him in the amateurs. Will his fight with Andy Lee be competitive?

This is a great piece of matchmaking as the fight is 50-50 right now. I was surprised McEwan took the fight because he was slated for the Khan undercard and would have been the home fighter. Here he is the away fighter because Lee is going to sign with DiBella. From what I've seen of McEwan he is just a tidy boxer. Here is his fight with Juan Carlos Sanchez.
