Thread: .PDF Editing Software

Anyone know of a good free one?

I need to tweak a .PDF file slightly, but need the tools to do it!

When my girlfriend wakes up i'll ask her, as they just got a good one at work they use for all their legal documents (accountant)...

It also depends on the document as well if it can be edited or not... if you can click and hold with the mouse, drag it down through the text, then copy the text into another program like word or notepad, then you should be able to edit it with a program... I just mention it though as some PDF's are kind of saved as images of text instead of actual text, and those can't be edited.

I've tried to copy, paste it, but it doesn't come across like I need. I used to have something for it, but the trial ran out

Try the Open Office Suite... Lets you import pdf files, edit them and save them.

Getting desperate, all the free ones I've found want to put the words "DEMO" through the middle of the document!

Open Office worked perfectly!
