Just read where Nate is coming out of retirement to fight some up and coming prospect. I like Nate a lot and was happy when he stepped away from the game so I hope this doesn't lead to a bludgeoning at his expense.

Money talks and bullshit walks.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
A little going away money never hurt anyone (pun intended).

Loved Nate, but the time has gone. He clearly loves boxing more than he loves himself.
Nate has no potential in this sport. But nothing wrong with taking a paycheck to let some of these young guys beat him down and get some practice.....and that's exactly what will happen. When he looked up at the monitior overhead to SEE how bad his eye was against bradley just to cry he couldn't see later, i knew he was done.

This shouldn't come as a surprise considering his well documented money problems. Shame he never got a real big money fighter after beating Diaz.
He lost to Walter Estrada his last fight, that should tell you how much is left. Gonna just use him as a name to prop up some prospects record. He even said before he retired he could pull the trigger on his shots, and that was pretty evident his last few fights.
Lets not act like Campbell is shot to bits and risking brain damage or something here fellas.
I mean he's past his prime but he's not risking serious injury, and who knows he could very well beat the prospect, depends who it is.
Too bad he went back on his word, but hell Bernard went back on his word to his dying Mother.

I agree with Hulk.
Sure Campbell should be retired, but if he wants to finish his career as a stepping stone for some dollars then so be it. He won't be the first nor the last. Boxing is what he knows, it is easier to earn a bit of cash doing that than re-educating himself and starting again (though ultimately that is what he needs to do).
