Default Danny Green vs Antonio Tarver

Just heard this is set for a couple of months here in Australia...

Definitely think Green has a chance... But Tarver is going to be a seriously tough and skilled opponent for him... I'm really looking forward to it..

My ideal ending of this fight is Danny Green lying on his back and wondering what the fuck just happened. Even Tarver is fuckin past it, he bagged mundine for fighting nobodies but this is just as bad. Why doesnt he rematch Flores.

am i the only one who thought that tarver was now in cruiser/heavy territory?

shame that someone with such a smart boxing brain still feels the need to fight on way past his prime

WTF is wrong with green, got some obsession of beating up OAPs
    one dangerous horrible bloke

Why is Tarver and RJJ both fighting in the cruiserweight division?
After all these years, they still fighting each other?

Eh...my only hope is for a double KO as I dislike both fighters.

Maybe Tarver decided against fighting at Heavyweight

Either way, Tarver is hardly a bum. It's not a terrible fight to make but Green should of been looking at bigger fights that Tarver all the same.

Fighting Flores is pointless, he beat him decisively the first time.

I just wish both RJJ, Tarver, would stick to commentating now.

I love RJJ but man i cannot understand a word he says

But yeah I really don't see the point in fighting Tarver other than it might get some exposure for Danny Green in the US of A.

Im a big RJJ fan so maybe im a bit biased, but i like RJJ's commentating. Even though he never misses a chance to big himself up typical RJJ

That may be true but honestly I couldn't tell you.............. He speaks like he's had 50 coffees and has cerebral palsy.

I enjoy his commentating for the same reason I like Manny Stewart.... Great insight that is usually one or two steps ahead of the other commentators.. They are trying to hype every moment for what it is (I guess what they are paid for) but Jones and Manny are telling how the next 3 to 6 rounds are going to play out, and most of the time they are correct...

But RJJ is yes, sometimes hard to understand... Especially i'm sure for people who aren't American..

No problem with Roy's commentating it's good, but he pisses me off when he goes off on all the God stuff. Just like I've no time no Lampley's 'allah' baiting of Naz, I've equally got no time for Roy going off about how Canelo has been blessed with faith, or some crap like that.

Anyway, I quite like Tarver, even though he should stay behind the mic, so I hope he lays Green out, because that guy is one of the few fighters I genuinely dislike.

Green? Really? Is it because he looks like a racist?

Haha, I never thought that. I mean obviously he's white so I naturally assumed it, but no more than any other white man*

It's almost all the Briggs fight, with a bit of the Roy win & how he acted as if he'd beaten 1998 Roy, but mainly his behaviour in picking Briggs as an opponent & then how he talked about him afterwards.

*For those of you not familiar with me, that is a joke, I don't think all white people are racists. Just HattonTheHammer & CFH
