I saw this story earlier today. Had to check it was april fools day again!

Earl may have well knocked Katsidis down before but it still looked a matter of time until he would be stopped.

I dont know what there would be for Katsidis to gain from a rematch i cant see there being much money in it either. As much as a nice guy Earl is i see him getting banged out in a couple of rounds.

I don't think this fight will happen. Earl may have been promised a rematch back then but i doubt Katsidis really feels any obligation to grant it now.

Terrible idea.......... Simple.

Katsidis hasnt fought at home in alot of yrs and he wants a fight in australia. No one is taking him up on it, so Earl may be his last option im guessing.

Earl had a couple of decent rounds, but otherwise took a beating. Total mismatch.

I though Earl retired, he has been knocked out and stopped so many times.

Yeah but his stoppage against Khan was premature. He had him just where he wanted him according to his post fight interview.
