Default Arreola back in 3 weeks

That's right, he's fighting again in 3 weeks on the Paul Williams-Lara BAD undercard. It's only July and this will be his 4th fight. I think he knows he cant stay idle cause he will get fatter. He's taking on Friday Ahunanya.

Cristobal Arreola, Friday Ahunanya scheduled for July 9 bout in Atlantic City - ESPN

I think you are dead on about Arreola realizing what idleness does to him.

    A new motto perhaps?

Stay busy, stay thin? (well, by walrus standards)

Good for Arreola, I don't know about anyone else but I'd like to see Wlad fight Arreola, I think its a good matchup if Cris keeps his weight down. I don't give Cris much of a shot, but hell anything is possible if you work hard!

Wlad Chris would get squashed faster than you can say jack Robinson!!

The one thing you got to give Arreola is he'd go down fighting. He'd go down, but h'd' have left nothing undone.

I am not exactly a fan of the man but Props for the efforts he's taking to turn his career hot again. It would be difficult to hold something a fighter that wants to remain busy and active, props to the man.

Yea good for him staying busy. He's working hard ar it. He will get another title shot soon, don't know if he will win a title but another shot is probably just around the corner.

If Arreola stays busy, wins easy, keeps his weight down, get more confidence and improves his skills, then he should continue what he is doing as fighting in the ring pays the bills. If this is just a phase that he is going through and intends to get lazy and fat after this effort then he should try and get a title shot now at his peak or a meaningful fight with a top contender.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

Arreola-Povetkin or Arreola-Helenius would be some good scraps. Hell even Arreola-Chagaev would be ok.

He's fighting Friday Ahunaya....at least Friday is durable.
