Finally this guy speaks some sense! Glad to see he respects the sport and the fighters. Also good to hear that he wouldn't step into the cage!

He defo wouldn't get a boring points win in the cage - he'd get battered by every single person at his weight - even with training!

B-hop is the man. He has done enough to never be forgotten and may retire after the Dawson fight.

Just like he would batter every single person at his weight - even with training in the boxing ring.

I agree, B-Hop is amazing. such heart and courage! a boxing legend.
I love MMA too, but the UFC is beyond lame now. Tito Ortiz? omg are they serious? this guy was 'done' 10 years ago!

Great listening to a legend like Hopkins. He knows this game inside out and is probably better placed than anyone else I can think of to give you the ins and outs of boxing. As someone else said above his only clear loss was to a prime Jones which he avenged so heres a guy who is in his mid 40s and feels he has beat every guy he has ever fought and is still at the top of his game as light heavyweight champ. Amazing accomplishment.

Interesting to hear him reference James Toney. I know those two have been rivals for a couple decades but have never met in the ring. I'd still like to see it even now. Its clear Hopkins respects Toney as an old school fighter but I reckon Hopkins would exploit his style and take a decision.

    Great vid!
