I bought a water bobble. Shared fridge means I can't use a filter jug that fits. Anyone know much about filters?

That one looks like an activated carbon filter ok for a while but they dont catch everything. Dont use them towards the end of their life as they leech what they've been filtering.
Once you can taste its stopped working its too late.
Oh yeah and that plastic they use for the bottle, dont leave it in the sun it leeches out a chemical too, best to buy a bottle that is that softer composition plastic not see through. (an expensive drinking bottle not glossy and see through like those ones. look it up i kid you not.

Figured it was better than nothing for now.
I have got a metal water bottle which I do use.
For sure. Do they have a lot of chlorine and fluoride in your water there?
Ours is one of the cleanest waters in the world (so they say) and it still smells of bleach at times, dick heads.
We boil a lot each night and leave it open over night in a metal pot on the stove which gets alot of it out, then fliter it through activated carbon the next day. We dont bother about the fridge though, just at room temp.
You can taste the difference.
The Lifesaver Bottle
Im looking at these at the moment. For harsh travel and or survival reasons.
It even filters your own piss into pure water as last resort.
Cheaper on ebay.
Wish they had one that changed salt water to pure easily.
That does look cool, too good to be true.
I have a filter tap in the sink but have to change the filters every so often, cost a lot of money.
