Thread: Female boxers in the SF Bay Area?

Hi all.

I'm hoping to interview some female boxers for a video magazine project that I'm putting together.

Does anyone know of any professional female boxers based in the SF Bay Area?

Any names would be appreciated.

The first one that comes to mind is Ana Julaton.

Julaton is the first that came to my mind as well. She trains at the same gym as Nonito Donaire in San Leandro i believe.

Also...and I know this is a pretty random request...I am interested in whether or not they have children because part of my story will involve the difficulty of juggling the roles of parent and boxer.

I don't believe she has any kids. Maybe you should check out the gym and see if you can find any other female boxers there that might. The name of the gym is the "the Kennel" and it's on teagarden right off Marina blvd. So do you do boxing only video magazines? or all different types of things?

I don't do boxing video projects regularly. I just happened to pick it as my topic for this assignment.
