Would've liked to see Ortiz win - but don't talk rubbish - Cortez said "box on" they touched gloves YET AGAIN ......so ready to go! Two people to blame for situation 1/ Ortiz for continually headbutting and 2/ Cortez for officiating like an idiot - he's there to protect the fighters as well as to officiate - should be sacked!

If Cortez did restart the fight and if the time had resume, I still dont think any other great fighter would be so opportunistic and capitolize at a situation like that, not once but twice NOW!

That man has no honor, I guess what do you expect from a ghetto boy.

Mayweather ended up taking credit away from his own win with those cheap shots.

Ortiz was just as wrong with his dirty tactics but Mayweather should of been the better man and battered him over the next few rounds.

I've seen other fighters hit quickly after a 'box on' and quite often it's come after the other has cheated/been warned etc.

I dont like mayweather particularly, although im not really that interested but in general if i watch his fights i like to see the other fella win

but the aim of boxing is to hit someone in the head till they cant stand up anymore so you cant get upset if one of the boxers hits the other one in the head

He should have hit him while Ortiz was trying to hug

but he did better. He gestured as if he was accepting the hug and then launch a left hook and a right cross

For once I agree with Mr Rains. Mayweather is a dirty, dirty fighter. No class whatsoever.

Ortiz doesn't deserve class after throwing headbutts. It's a boxing match not a street fight, and what that kid did was disrespectful to the sport, it's fan's, and his opponent who gave him his payday.

It was a clean enough fight until that point, and although I agree it was cheap and dirty I don't blame Mayweather at all for it. Ortiz wanted a dirty fight so he got one.

It was the same thing with Gatti...the ref never actually said stop, Gatti thought the ref was going to do something, paused and he got cracked. Cant blame mayweather for being on the ball.

You only hurt your own reputation by pulling cheap dirty shit like that. I can see a low talent thug trying this but not a fighter with the skill of Mayweather, what an embarrassment. Any honorable fighter would not hit another fighter when the he is looking at the ref for direction, with his hands down. Technically not illegal but morally and honourably wrong.

It is comparable to, but not exclusively in parallel to an attack against an unsuspecting but rather violent retarded individual.
