End of the line for tough, stubborn Juarez. If he loses to Escobedo then no 15th world title shot !
Jorge Arce is facing Simphiwe Nongqayi, whoever the fuck that is.

"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"
Damn apparently this Nongay guy has already beaten Arce by decision.
Should be an interesting rematch !

I think Escobedo wins the decision
I'm picking Nongqayi again, but I must say I feel he may have slipped further than Arce since there 1st meeting
The Best There Is, The Best There Was, The Best There Ever Will Be
Rocky Juarez still fighting? Do Rocky and Zab Judah have the same promoter? They keep getting chances.
Juarez is such a lost case.. sad really because he has all the tools to become a champion but something is missing inside him.. He's like Dominic Guinn.. There are guys with all the necessary tools and natural talent yet they are missing the desire, no passion.. These guys can only fight in one gear and that's just not enough to compete at the high level..
Escobedo UD
It's a dangerous fight for Arce.. IT's a ballsy move but an unwise business decision to rematch Nongqayi because he could have made big money facing softer touches such as Jonathan oquendo or Vazquez. I was pretty shocked when he lost the first bout to Nongqayi but was even more shocked when Nongqayi lost to rosas in return..
There are alot of Puerto Rican fighters lined up to for Arce's WBO title so im surprised he chose to face Nongqyai who's a high risk/low reward..
He didnt just lose the first bout but he got beat thoroughly.. Nong just might have his number so if arce wants to win, he needs to come in with a totally different game plan.. It's a dangerous fight and i dont understand why he chose this fight but more to him for having balls...
Arce claims that he came down with a flu days before the fight so im gonna give him the benefit of a doubt.. On top of that, he's been struggling to make 115 for years so drainage might have been a factor in their first meeting..
Right now, he's filled out and fighting more at his natural weight division so he might be rejuvenated..
Nongayi pretty much quit against Rosas in his last bout and that was well over one year ago so ring rust might be a factor especially at his age...
I can see why the bookies have Arce at -800... yes, -800... that's some sexy ass odd if you ask me and if you're a betting man, this is the type of fight you got to fuck with..
Arce really impressed me against
Vazquez Jnr last time out - down as my fight of the year so far - had it all and he showed shit loads of heart in the South American matchup. I can't help but have shit loads of respect for Arce as an earlier post says high
risk low reward fight - I guess he's taking this because never thought he should have list last time (not due to decision but down to himself) - sorry to bitch about khan again but
I'd have been looking to fight Prescott ASAP So I could look myself in the mirror again! ....too late now but they'll always be the unavenged loss on his record!

Juarez lost another decision.
Almost had Escobedo outta there but it was the very end of the round. Escobedo was rocked big time, but outboxed Juarez most of the fight, even dropped him with a jab early on.
Good fight.
Another loss for Juarez.
Probably the end of the line at or near the world class level.
