I started a thread on this last month covering similar ground. It's another in a long list of scandals. Huge corporations are evading tax and the super rich are avoiding paying income tax by employing accountants who help them utilize various tax loopholes. And yet we have people complaining in the Greece thread that Greece is unable to recoup taxes from it's own citizenry. Well, we are unable to recoup tax from big business or our own elite.

Is it just we just bitch if it is ordinary people not paying their 50 bucks a week?

You either have standards from top to bottom or you have none at all.

AGAIN Lyle cannot hold himself back from his insidious addiction to politicizing and avoiding the clear points being made that offer him clear evidence of the things which he denies.

Hey, its a clear almost BLATANT example of "Crony Capitalism" that YOU (if you weren't a friggin tin foil hat wearing nutjob) would actually agree with me on.

Just who allows Immelt and GE to not only get away with stiffing Uncle Sam on their tab but offers Immelt a fucking position of power within the government...not too cool by my standards man.

well OK youre right it is indeed an example of that, but the way in which you said it was in a sly and insinuating manner that implied you were again resorting to politicising. (a "certain" person in a "certain" office, etc.--- clearly that "certainty" or "particularity" is what you are stressing subtley there, it is quite clear.)
