For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
Thanks, Fenster and I used to be pretty high on Guzman, but he started getting inactive and pricing himself out of fights the he started missing weight clearly I had overestimated his ring smarts. Topping that of he came up positive for banned substance. Don't get me wrong he has amazing hand speed and defensive ability is phenomenal. There's just something about his drive. I don't think I could declare he's back after that level of opposition, but coming in at 139 is a promising sign.

Cant disagree with you there. But like you said, he is at least showing discipline and getting back in shape. It's not like he's taken any punishment during his career so if he truly dedicates himself, I dont see why he couldnt make another run and this coming fro someone who is not a huge fan of guzman.
His cat-like reflex is still there..

I think the early success got to his head and drove him to the buffet tables too often..
I dont think it's too late though. The guy has special talents and he's rarely taken any punches. He was in good shape for this bout so i think he might be rejuvenated.
He could be a stiff test for these up-n-comers like Vernon Paris and Jesse Vargas.. I still think he can beat the best out there.
I still am a fan of Guzman. Yeah he's an utter disgrace but the guy has some serious undeniable talent.
He ruined his chance of ever being a "great" fighter.... However,
Prime Guzman counter-punch's Pac to death. Fact.
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
I hope he stays motivated. He will be tough for anyone around the weight! But he needs to be fast tracked back to get back to where he was

Yes Guzman was that good but he did have a tendency of being a bully and on top fighter, so do not know how he would have reacted if he was pushed to the limits by a great fighter like Manny.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
When I see some one like Guzman, with all that talent
just seem's to piss me off.?
Will he be a champion again, yes World pie eating champion![]()
The more I think about it, I'm really excited about Guzman's return. He matches up well with nearly everyone at 147 & 140.
